How your wallet works
When you create a Saola wallet, the software-browser generates a 12-word mnemonic. This mnemonic represents data that is used to derive a public and private keypair with which the wallet can further derive data used to receive Saolacoin and send Saolacoin via the Saolacoin Blockchain Network. We do not collect or record your public or private key, or your 12-word mnemonic and therefore, we cannot identify you at any point in time. We cannot recover your private key for you at any point. It is your responsibility to secure a physical backup of your mnemonic to ensure the recoverability of your wallet.
Without access to your wallet mnemonic in the event of you losing your phone or some sort of memory or data loss of your device’s storage, you will not be able to recover your funds. Securing a physical backup of your mnemonic is your responsibility and we are not liable for any loss of funds in the event that you do not adhere to and comply with the terms outlined in this document.
